Who’s behind 242 dice?
My name is Beth and I am the face behind 242 Dice! I am a wife and proud Mama of two little boys, ages 2 and 4.
I love colour & light and am always chasing the perfect dice creation! I also pride myself on my quality and am constantly looking for ways to improve my dice. I hope you enjoy my dice as much as I enjoy making them!
my dicemaking process
All my dice start from a 3D master dice designed by myself, which are then printed, sanded and polished by hand. Those shiny master dice are cast into silicone to make molds, which are used in the hand-casting process that cures for a day in a pressure pot to reduce bubbles, then an additional 2-3 days. Those dice are then polished and hand painted before being carefully packaged and sent to their new home!
